From yesterday onwards it is saying low balance, even though outgoing calls are free with this plan. No customer service. #bsnlistheworst

We just have online payments and do not have to stand in queue and do not feel the pain, which BSNL also now supports. Monopoly is the big evil, independent of whether Govt or Private.
