    BSNL has introduced a ₹1.34 lakh satellite phone that enables communication even in areas with no mobile network coverage. Unlike conventional smartphones, the device links directly to satellites, making it suitable for defence personnel, disaster management teams, maritime operations, and people in remote locations.     🇮🇳 BSNL has launched a satellite phone in India priced at ₹1,34,166 (around $1,560 USD), developed in partnership with Inmarsat. Unlike regular phones, it connects directly to satellites, allowing voice calls and SMS even in areas with no mobile network! The device is designed for government agencies, defence, emergency services, maritime operations and remote field teams. Due to national security rules, buyers must obtain approval from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) before purchasing. BSNL's satellite phone service starts at ₹3,500/month for government users and ₹5,835/month for commercial users.

    @RulaminAli13 @airtelindia @Airtel_Presence I am also facing the same problem since last 2 days. I have recently done a recharge of Rs 649 in Airtel. I am stuck and cannot even do the porting and now I have again done a recharge of Rs 225 in BSNL.

    @bsnl_care With all due respect, BSNL, your existing 4G/5G network still needs significant improvement. Please focus on delivering reliable connectivity where people already pay affordable recharge prices before expanding into a satellite service that could cost over ₹1 lakh.
