@RMantri You are wrong in this case. Because of BSNL, we now have a matured system of indigenous 4G and 5G equipment maker Tejas Network. Long term benefit will be immense. No private sector was betting on Tejas.

I'm in Tamilnadu from 29 may. But I couldn't make a single call from @BSNLCorporate. I don't know when every Indian will proudly say that BSNL is the best. The same issue I faced when I was in Kerala. But..But.... Nothing has changed. Wake Up @DoT_India & awaken BSNL.

How does a SIM-less FWA work? Unlike Jio AirFiber or Airtel Xstream AirFiber which require physical 5G SIMs, BSNL utilizes Direct-to-Device (D2D) tech. The hardware automatically authenticates with the network via device level ID and cloud provisioning right out of the box. 2/n

BSNL is doing something pretty interesting with its new 5G broadband service, BSNL Q-5G. Plans start at ₹999 for 100 Mbps and ₹1,499 for 300 Mbps. It's currently being tested in Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Gwalior, Pondicherry and Visakhapatnam. Unlike Jio AirFiber and Airtel Xstream AirFiber, BSNL's router doesn't need a SIM card at all. Just power it on and it gets authenticated on the network automatically using the device's built-in identity.
