Niranjan Patil (@njnrn) reportedThe concerning part isn't the technical mechanism, it's that BSNL pushed a carrier settings update, a VoWiFi activation campaign, and a burst of OTA provisioning messages to devices, all within the same window. These land on your phone without you initiating anything. If you accepted the carrier update when prompted, your modem was silently re-initialised. Whether anyone on the network operations side considered device-side impact is a fair question.
