@JioCare This issue was discussed in a meeting between the Gram Panchayat and villagers. It has been unanimously decided that if the Jio network issue is not resolved soon, villagers will discontinue Jio SIM and switch to other better networks (such as Airtel/VI/BSNL).

@MashraniVivek @talk2anuradha What is there to research? These are the only options available. VI and BSNL are even worse. I am using both Airtel and Jio. Problem solved. Well, not exactly, but mostly.

@priyabrat3 I don't think they have a genuine intention to revive BSNL. It is being kept on survival mode just to provide service in remote locations and pay salaries of the Big Babus from the pockets of the tax-payers.

One person managing customer work inside a building that must easily be over 2 lakh square feet. That was the situation today at the BSNL office in BJB Nagar, Bhubaneswar. There are multiple counters and a huge office space. But only one employee was attending to customers. To be fair, the man was trying his best. He was handling SIM issues, KYC requests and other complaints all by himself. But the strange part is this. He is not even authorised to resolve many KYC problems. For that, customers are asked to go to the General Manager’s office near Rupali Square, which is about 5–6 km away from here. So for one simple prepaid KYC, a person has to travel from one office to another. In a time when we constantly hear about Digital India, it is surprising that something as basic as mobile KYC still requires people to run from one office to another. The employee looked helpless. And the system looked completely outdated. #BSNL @PMOIndia
