    @Priyaa_Purohit Before 2014, my monthly mobile bill, Rs 1000, hardly 1-2 GB data and limited talktime. Now, for 400, I get Unlimited data and unlimited talktime. Also, 1. Jio 2. Airtel 3. Vi 4. BSNL Still 4 options - Try BSNL, not that bad.

    @DrNimoYadav @BSNLCorporate not vanished... It's rising up slowly... Now its user/customer chances to opt BSNL. Most Indians are using dual SIM, opt one Sim as BSNL.

    @BaluGorade Call reliability.. we use Wi- Fi at Home.. hardly use data but BSNL has very poor core network.. and call drop and calls not connecting is very common.. which is not that frequent in Airtel/ Jio

    @manoj_216 Markets don’t magically turn into duopolies. It usually happens when competition thins out and no one steps in to balance the field. Public players like BSNL or Air India didn’t fade overnight years of slow upgrades, policy delays and financial stress quietly pushed them out of the front row. So when something like the IndiGo chaos happens, it’s not just one airline having a bad week. It’s the whole system saying: maybe we should’ve kept more players on the board… or at least checked if the ones left were ready.

    @Garg_Aditya_ @BaluGorade How can BSNL fix issues ? You know what is stopping @BSNLCorporate ? Is the telecom minister ? Or some other private company ? Or some other minister ? Thankfully, 100 years ago people didn't compare quality of khadi with imported cloth. 🙏

    @BaluGorade Not just mobile— even landline services tell the same story. We had a BSNL landline from 2005 to 2022, and added broadband around 2006–07. In the early years, the service actually worked quite well. But the biggest issue? Physical cable cuts. Every time it happened, the restoration took weeks — sometimes even a month. Despite escalating complaints all the way up to the GM level, there was never a permanent fix. Then came COVID. With work-from-home, I needed better upload speeds for video calls, file transfers on Skype, Outlook, etc. BSNL simply refused any upgrade — no matter how many times I requested or escalated. Eventually, I had no choice but to disconnect and switch to GTPL Hathway.
