@nkk_123 Calling BPCL Bargarh the next “BSNL story” makes for a dramatic exposé. The facts tell a different story. The plant wasn’t “shut down.” It was commissioned in FY25–26 as an integrated 1G+2G biorefinery, with 100 KL/day capacity for each. 1G production began on 6 Oct 2025. 2G production began on 19 Mar 2026. It has already produced 707 KL of 1G + 76 KL of 2G ethanol. A newly commissioned plant undergoing stabilisation—especially with complex 2G technology—is not evidence that a PSU was deliberately crippled to benefit private players. Private ethanol procurement + PSU-owned production can coexist. To prove a “scam,” show evidence of deliberate sabotage or suppression—not simply that a new plant hasn’t reached full commercial stability yet. Rhetoric isn’t evidence. If you’re alleging a scam, present the whole story not just the half that fits the narrative.

India needs a strong BSNL. With only Jio, Airtel and Vi as major competitors, telecom competition is limited. If the government invests in BSNL’s network and offers plans ₹40–₹50 cheaper, people would have a real alternative. Imagine a reliable BSNL ₹300 plan instead of ₹349. Better network + affordable plans = more competition and better value for consumers.

@Indian_Analyzer Government should get out of retail operations like mobile services- nobody uses BSNL due to it’s pathetic speed, sarkari service. That will not change. Stop wasting taxpayers money

@IndianTechGuide Modi government killed BSNL show privates could do this lol. No new large investment by their owners aka the government to improve service or to capture market shares. Meanwhile in China their state owned companies dominate the markets.
