Unfortunately Trai became the silent partner of those corporates instead of voice of consumers. Our current govt plans to lure the people in multiple ways from tax to e20.   Dear @BSNLCorporate... Now I want to port to BSNL. Is your 5G service working well? Given the current situation in the country with Airtel and Jio, it seems everyone should adopt BSNL and the government should fix the government-run BSNL. Airtel has dropped some of its plans and introduced new plans which are more costly... Would you all like to go to BSNL...?

  My dad was a senior engineer in GOI's Department of Telecommunications, later to be BSNL. Did it help me get a scholarship for a Max Planck PhD program? No. I got into the program because I was a co-author on two papers during my Master's thesis. A middle class privilege only gets one so far and this nonsense of deriding genuine STEM achievements must stop.
