On complaint to the local office every time a lineman comes and does some cleaning in the joints in drop wire, but the problem is never solved.

Maybe Yoda (@yoda_maybe) reported@vishalsuchak The entrance of mobile telephony was the death knell for landlines anyway, what got me is how bsnl was degraded & handed over to Jio w zero look at security concerns. The only network allowed/available in forward areas (& remote ones) until 10 yrs ago was bsnl. Now jio & airtel.
