Government aid, including Rs 3.35 lakh crore in 2019 and Rs 1.64 lakh crore in 2022, supported this revival. A new logo and seven customer-focused services launched in October 2024. Critics, however, question service quality, noting lawmakers use BSNL SIMs mainly because they’re free, and highlight reliance on government funding, raising sustainability concerns.

@4k_isn @IndianTechGuide You can say no thanks all you want but in reality jio has watered down conectivity so bad in the past month that people in my area are getting dogshit connectivity eventho we live in a major city. BSNL 4G here gives me around 10MBPS download speed while jio can't even break 4mbps
