@AmitShah @narendramodi Sorry sir, I beg to differ. A govt employee doesn't work same way as a private firm employee. The money spent on those people who themselves are responsible for the declining state of BSNL is absolutely unjust.

  • saha6aks Akash Saha ;-) (@saha6aks) reported

@nitin_gadkari @narendramodi Sir this is real bad move, investment in such loss making companies makes zero sense. Hope you will find a way to #disinvest such white elephants or else they will keep ruining our tax payer's money 💷 #BSNL

  • DigantRai Digant Rai 🇮🇳 (@DigantRai) reported

So Payment gateway based on NCPI and BSNL infra can circumvent all other private operator infra, saving service charges and commission leakages. And all the 1.64 lakh crore invested in BSNL will result in indirect income to Govt. over a period of time.

  • s_aadhavan Aadhavan S (@s_aadhavan) reported

BSNL & BBNL merger is also approved, this signifies that GoI is trying to cover Rural Population with 4G connectivity. Private Operators will be moving to 5G and later 6G, there would be a big vacuum for 4G services. Even today these private operators don't offer service in low

@rajnathsingh @narendramodi Sir Your kind intervention is requested as since 25.07.2022 BSNL 15000 officer are on strike in order to settle the long pending issues since last 20 year

  • brightboy42 Sushant (@brightboy42) reported

@AmitShah @narendramodi Stupid decision. Sorry. What is the point of this? Why waste money? Is there a need for BSNL to operate in the telecom space? If it cannot run via it’s own money, then better to close it. Why to use my tax money for running a telecom company which is no longer financially viable?

  • DigantRai Digant Rai 🇮🇳 (@DigantRai) reported

Remember, Govt was testing some UPI payment system with SMS via basic handset. BSNL infra may help this payment gateway by leaps and bounds. Even poor DBT beneficiaries can do payment with basic handset. And we all know how much UPI payment system helping each one of us.

  • Pravinverma4u Pravin Verma (@Pravinverma4u) reported

@nitin_gadkari @narendramodi But i doubt they will work for the benefit of private players... Instead of improving their own services... If BSNL provides good service then why do people go for costly private service providers

  • ashwinmahesh Ashwin Mahesh (@ashwinmahesh) reported

1.65 lakh cr. revival package for BSNL. Good money after bad. The government really loves its PSUs, not because they are performing well, but because they're not. Repeated 'revival' hasn't brought too many of them back to life, but has sustained lots of vendors and contractors.

  • PiyushMeharia3 Piyush Meharia (@PiyushMeharia3) reported

@AmitShah @narendramodi Another heap money which will go down in drain... Bsnl is almost dead... Why unnecessary you play with taxpayers money.. Shame on this government
