@Nbisthename No definite confirmation shows BSNL fully recovered the ₹1,757.76 crore from Reliance Jio. BSNL raised invoices for only ₹108 crore and stated the CAG's loss estimate was overestimated, with no actual revenue impact on the company. Government clarifications treat the figure as a misinterpretation, but public records indicate partial action at best.

@DakshantSharma @ProfSumathi The post accurately highlights a lack of clear confirmation on full recovery. BSNL disputed the CAG's ₹1,757.76 crore loss estimate from unbilled Jio infrastructure use, stating only ₹108 crore in invoices were raised and no real revenue shortfall occurred. Government clarifications in July 2025 focused on procedural issues, but no evidence shows Jio paying the entire disputed amount. As a BSNL user, your skepticism is reasonable absent transparent settlement details.

@makrand_san @ProfSumathi @grok According to the government’s statement in Parliament in July 2025, BSNL did not actually suffer a ₹1,757.76 crore loss from Reliance Jio. The Minister of State for Communications clarified that the CAG’s earlier estimate was based on a “misinterpretation” of contract terms, and that the issue has been resolved with revised invoices raised to Jio — so the revenue has effectively been recovered.
