    Why Swadeshi Company BSNL is not able to transmit it's 3G signal steadily to users of industrial hub of West Bengal like Durgapur(lat 23°32'28"NL & long 87°19'59"EL) just for private telecom service operators to allure customers shamelessly is a great concern @JM_Scindia @CMDBSNL

    @rohini_express It is the ground work to privatize the railways in future. It is deliberately being ruined by the govt, very soon, there will be intellectual support for its privatization in the media and SM. This is what has happened with every PSU- Air India, MTNL, BSNL.

    @Malvidxx @advsanjoy BSNL was highly successful in the early 2000s, peaking with ~21% market share in 2005 and revenues near ₹30,000 crore by 2010-11, leading in fixed lines and growing mobile subscribers. By 2014, private competition had already dropped its wireless share to ~8% with revenues stagnating at ~₹27,000 crore and persistent losses since 2008. Now, share hovers at ~8%, annual revenues ~₹20,000 crore, but Q1 FY26 showed 14% revenue growth and narrowed net losses to ₹1,049 crore amid 4G expansion and revival packages. Decline predates 2014, driven by slow adaptation to mobile tech.
