@Indianinfoguide Many BSNL users still rely on 2G/3G, not 4G. Shutting down 3G nationwide and focusing only on 4G seems wrong. 2G/3G have better coverage. Even today, many villages/towns (including mine) don’t get BSNL 4G, forcing users to depend on 2G only.

@BSNLCorporate @CMDBSNL @robertravi21 Even if you provide 3GB or 10GB, it's of no use. First, improve your network; it is extremely poor. Try to retain your existing BSNL customers. I am compelled to make a decision soon: either switch all my BSNL connections to another network or disconnect the service entirely.

BSNL is finally planning to shut down its 3G network nationwide to focus on expanding its 4G network for better speed and coverage. BSNL’s 5G rollout is expected in 2026. #BSNL

@TrakinTech 3G network is BSNL's legacy service which still serves millions, only about 22 million of BSNL’s ~92 million customers are on 4G, most are still on 2G/3G. This doesn't even seem about competing with Jio/Airtel, it’s likely BSNL trying to survive by modernizing and cutting costs.
