Tattvam News Today - TNT (@TattvamNews) reportedBSNL SATELLITE PHONES: - Nothing particularly new or interesting here. This is 30+ year old proven Inmarsat GEO satellite phone technology (handhelds like IsatPhone have been around since the 2000s, with roots going back decades). Etisalat-backed Thuraya was already deploying similar sat phones which could be used globaly in the early 1990s-2000s. - At ₹1.34 lakh for the handset + high monthly rentals (₹3.5k to 11k+), it's damn expensive for regular public use. Makes sense only for real needs like mountaineering, defence, maritime, disaster response, mining or remote interiors where normal mobile coverage doesn't reach. For everyone else, it's overkill.

BSNLCare (@bsnl_care) reported@Broken_Smil_e Dear Customer, Thank you for your interest in the BSNL Satellite Phone service. We would like to inform you that the handset requires an active BSNL Satellite Phone plan to make or receive calls and messages. The applicable validity, tariff plans, and recharge details depend on the selected satellite service plan. For detailed information, kindly contact 9768866652. Regards, BSNL Care (Ankit)

Monica Malik (@monicamalikpmf) reportedBSNL launched a phone that's more expensive than the iPhone 17 Pro Priced at ₹1,34,166 this device isn't built for ordinary consumers. It is a dedicated satellite phone designed for absolute survival. When cellular networks fail during disasters or in remote locations, this device stays connected. BSNL is bypassing the crowded telecom wars to dominate mission-critical sectors like defence, maritime, and mining. It features direct satellite calling, long battery life, and dedicated SOS support. You aren't paying for luxury hardware. You are paying for a guaranteed lifeline when the grid goes dark. #BSNL #vodafon #newlaunch

I'M UNKNOWN (@Earth_1729) reportedBSNL just launched Rs. 1.34 lakh phone. What's so special? As per the company, it can make calls even in places with no mobile network by connecting directly to satellites. Built for remote regions, emergencies, and disaster response, it's a niche device with a very specific purpose.

Anik (@anikghosh) reportedDear @JioCare, my JioFiber broadband was down from last evening. When I called at 8 PM, I was told customer support doesn’t operate beyond 8 PM. In today’s world, internet is an essential service—support should be available 24×7. Yes, the fault was finally fixed after 10 AM today, but by then the two FIFA World Cup quarterfinals at 2:30 AM and 6:30 AM were long over. A delayed repair is of little value when the event you needed the service for has already passed. Seriously considering porting to Airtel Fibre or BSNL Fibre. They may have outages too, but at least they don’t claim to offer the best customer service while leaving customers without support overnight.
