    @BSNLCorporate @BSNL_AS what is the reason that BSNL mobiles are out of service at Nalbari since today afternoon ? Is there any favour taken from your department to keep services down to benefit private operators ? I heard there are 20times for employees in BSNL than pvt cos

    Idea for @RahulGandhi election promises - revive BSNL and MTNL properly. Easy bookings, good coverage. If the private companies need to make a profit, limit it to 2g/3g, but keep their low budget phone plans alive. You can simply stand on stage and read out their recharge plan prices to get all the votes. Right now the public can't use them widely due to coverage issues. And this is not just for the poor. You can keep a phone no you mostly need for OTPs alive for a year in Rs. 321 if you're a Tamil Nadu police officer (as a comment below pointed out) - this could be extended to the poor! Loads of people who use separate numbers for banking and social media would vote for this.

    @Wise Please update your advice to take international SIM for BSNL for IR pack. Now if you have BSNL international SIM then it will not work abroad. Rather you have to carry the normal SIM only. I am facing this issue right now.

    @BSNLCorporate All public sector banks has removed bsnl network from their system because of poor support, no accountability. Corporate business needs 100% availability which bsnl lags.
