    Hopeless service from bsnl. Landlines not working and after complaint they don't have funds for digging underground for repai the fault @BSNLCorporate

It has been reported that the rebate for the dead period may be considered/waived after conversion of your existing copper cable line to an optical fibre (FTTH) connection.     @Vidyut Affordable - yes, service reliability (at least for BSNL, never experienced MTNL) was not so reliable. If one faced issues, they were at the mercy of babus.
