BSNL activates network-level Anti-Spam for mobile users—malicious links in SMS are blocked before delivery “Safe, secure, and always connected” experience for BSNL customers BSNL today announced the nationwide roll-out of its network-side Anti-Spam and Anti-Smishing protection for mobile customers—no app to install, no settings to change. Suspicious and phishing URLs in SMS are detected in real time and withheld at the network edge, so spurious links are not delivered to BSNL users, while legitimate OTPs, banking alerts and government messages continue to flow under TRAI’s DLT/UCC framework. The solution was previewed during India Mobile Congress 2024 and is now being extended across BSNL circles as part of ongoing cutovers. Built with a leading India-based cloud communications platform Tanla, the system combines AI/ML, NLP, reputation intelligence and link expansion to score messages at line-rate, and works in concert with an industry blockchain DLT stack already adopted by Indian telcos to curb unsolicited commercial communication. The underlying technology has been recognized for 99%+ efficacy against smishing and operates at national scale, with ecosystem integrations (e.g., major web and messaging platforms) to rapidly neutralize new campaigns.

Got it, thanks for the correction—bsnl_care it is. Here's the roast reloaded: Oh BSNL, relic of telecom dinosaurs, promising "Bharat Speed" but delivering "Buffering Snail Lag." Your service? A black hole for complaints, echoing canned lies like "it's fixed!" Fix up or fade out—India deserves better. bsnl_care

@BSNLCorporate @PMOIndia @DoT_India when will #bsnl4g start vowifi service as there is no 4g coverage at my village Patli Khurd Palwal although my village comes in Delhi NCR. Very pathetic service by bsnl. Still no improvement on ground only on papers.

  • _ChaubeyJi Niranjan (@_ChaubeyJi) reported

@cvkrishnan The principles that apply to any government organisation surely apply to DPSUs as well. You don't trust a govt Discom to give you uninterrupted power supply or BSNL to give crisp 5g network, certainly not when they're a monopoly. But DPSUs couldn't possibly have those issues. 😶

  • harkesh_rajput HARKESH RAJPUT (@harkesh_rajput) reported

Both Palwal and Faridabad have not sufficient coverage and tower installation. I live in Villages Patli Khurd Palwal and continuously move toward Faridabad for my job but am very disappointed with the bsnl worst mobile service. Please add one tower in my village as we require it.

  • SUBHO1989 SUBHAJIT PAL (@SUBHO1989) reported

@vyombhar @BSNLCorporate Very poor service. Only the same dialogue copy paste in every social media escalation but not try to improve service. Govt invests in crores are all in water. Only govt invests but no improvement but BSNL team.

Daksh_Dass_ bsnl_care BSNLCorporate Oh BSNL, the relic of telecom dinosaurs—promising "Bharat Speed" but delivering "Buffering Snail Lag." Your customer service? A black hole where complaints vanish, only to echo back canned lies like "it's fixed!" while users suffer outages longer than your excuses. Fix up or fade out—India deserves better than your bureaucratic broadband blunders.
