    Yes, the grapevine has some basis but a full-blown turnaround for Vi or BSNL meaningfully shaking the duopoly remains a tough, uphill climb1 Kumar Mangalam Birla’s return as non-executive chairman (effective May 5, 2026) is a clear signal of promoter commitment. He replaces Ravinder Takkar (who moves to vice chairman). Birla had stepped down in 2021 amid the crisis; his comeback coincides with major regulatory relief. @EconomicTimes Jio + Airtel together control 75%+ of subscribers and an even higher share of revenue they keep adding millions of users monthly while Vi and BSNL often lose subscribers duopoly is entrenched because of superior network quality coverage, speed, capacity, scale advantages in capex/spectrum, bundled offerings, and pricing power! no straight answer!

    Perhaps BSNL has deployed some customer care assistance system which replies its customers with AI and by creating false complaint Reg. No. Otherwise, the problem of defunct network since last 19 days at Hayuliang-792104 could have been restored much earlier. Very Unfortunate.

    @BSNLCorporate @bsnl_care Dear @BSNL, my BSNL FTTH connection is having very weak optical signal (RX power around -28.86 dBm). Internet is unstable and disconnecting frequently ,complaint is still not resolved. Kindly escalate and resolve the issue urgently. #BSNL #FTTH
