Anjana (@anjanab_) reported@wegro_app CRISIL kept ₹6,500Cr bonds on Watch Negative. Even with a Govt guarantee, the 'CRISIL D' unsupported rating shows how bad the liquidity crunch is. It's worrying that they had to invoke the guarantee because of escrow delays. I'm not sure if BSNL running things can fix this debt.

MSD007 (@kishon_raj) reported@BSNLCorporate The internet connection gets disconnected repeatedly, almost 3 times every week. Yesterday at around 11 PM, the connection went down and it is still not restored. What is more frustrating than the outage is the complete lack of response from the local BSNL team.

Ramana Mantravadi (@RamanaMantrava) reportedMukesh Ambani reportedly never planned to enter the telecom sector on his own—the idea is said to have come from Modi, who personally encouraged him to start a telecom venture. When Ambani pointed out he lacked the infrastructure (towers), Modi allegedly told him to use BSNL’s towers at no cost. BSNL, which owns over 80,000 towers plus underground cabling, could have earned substantial revenue by leasing this infrastructure—yet Reliance is said to be using it without paying anything. Now, critics claim, Modi’s government is planning to wind down BSNL and hand its entire tower network to Ambani for free. This, the argument goes, is why the Finance Minister and Mohandas Pai have labeled BSNL a ‘white elephant.
