You'll receive a Unique Porting Code (UPC), valid for 4 days. Visit a BSNL customer service center with your ID proof, passport-size photo, and UPC code. Fill out the porting form, make the required payment for activation and the first recharge, and submit your documents. After submission, you'll receive a new BSNL SIM. BSNL just keeps launching plans, I’ve had a 5G SIM from them for a year now, but I still haven't received any network coverage. On the other hand, Modi has made internet access significantly cheaper compared to 2012–13, the 1GB data that Airtel used to sell for 299 is available at a much lower price today
