However, there have been reports in the past of *fake tower installation scams*, where fraudsters pretended to be BSNL to trick people—you just have to be careful when approached by someone claiming to install towers or offer jobs on behalf of BSNL. If you just stick to official BSNL channels for any service or upgrade, you’re protected by their new fraud detection system, which is catching more than a million scam attempts every day.

@jaganmsna Airtel is not already making good profits? BSNL in its good days had capital issues? In a richly valued Indian equity market, capital is not the problem, governance and govt interference is.

@Vivek_Investor Telcos no longer differentiate voice vs data in 4g, 5g networks I guess. I won't recommend BSNL bcos of poor coverage or issues/support. All one can do is somehow use UPI recharge & get some cashback to reduce net outgo per month.
