@pradhanajay358 @ITNewsBreaking Based on BSNL's previous 4G phases, deploying ~100,000 sites nationwide took about 2 years (from 2023 supply start to Oct 2025, with delays). For Delhi's 10,000 new sites, tender bidding may take 1-2 months, followed by phased rollout. Estimating 4-6 months post-award for completion, potentially by mid-2026, to support the planned 5G launch in early 2026. Actual timeline depends on vendors and approvals.

@InternetSipper But currently, it’s a one way test where Jio users latch onto BSNL in limited circles like MP n CG. A reverse ICR could help BSNL bridge its 4G gaps faster.

@_92XP Not quite a merger it’s more like a connectivity pact. Jio uses BSNL’s network in rural zones to fill coverage gaps, while BSNL earns from that usage.

@TelecomTalk BSNL will again forget to send bill for billions of rupees to JIO like they did in the past for using their network and infra. Clean blatant corruption. Nothing else.

@TelecomTalk If Jio is using BSNL towers and network, how is it that BSNL's 4G speed equals the 2G speed of Jio? It's time to stop the misleading marketing and focus on improving signal strength and voice quality for existing customers first. Am I correct, BSNL users? @BSNLCorporate #BSNL

@kumar_avinay Right. But this is a workaround. Other workarounds also exists. But not everyone will think that inorder to connect to a bsnl network you have to do a manual search.
