Shwetank Shukla (@shivohamshivam) reported@sonali0_ @JioCare 10 years with jio here. Tried to port from jio to airtel in January. They started calling me from 5-6 numbers after my porting request. Pleaded for staying. I continued jio and recharged for annual plan (because airtel pissed me off by showing their store being open on Google maps, which I found to be under renovation for the past 1 week), and regretting now. But then I checked with Airtel, BSNL (has only 4G right now in select cities, 5G will come after 7G comes in the rest of the world), and Vi users, whom I shamelessly ask what network they have when my Jio n/w fails (calls/sms work, no internet). Airtel is the only one that is most frequently found to work where jio doesn't. Problem is I am not sure if it works where jio is already working! 🤷 Most commonly visited places where jio internet "has to work" but doesn't - Isha Yoga center, Coimbatore Inside my bedroom Inside my office building Inside my office cafeteria Inside PVR/Cinepolis multiplexes Inside Malls, especially in food courts Railways stations Airside in almost all airports I visit Anyways, it's going to be airtel now from next jan. Done with @JioCare . Can't be fooled twice. 🙏

𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒙.. 🐦🔥 (@AquaBliss) reported@agrawalmanindra @ni5arga By this logic, I get 10–12 spam calls daily on my mobile, many of them sounding very genuine. So shall we ban Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL too, Director Sahib? The real issue is weak exam credibility, not the app used to expose the panic.

Vidyut (@Vidyut) reportedIdea for @RahulGandhi election promises - revive BSNL and MTNL properly. Easy bookings, good coverage. If the private companies need to make a profit, limit it to 2g/3g, but keep their low budget phone plans alive. You can simply stand on stage and read out their recharge plan prices to get all the votes. Right now the public can't use them widely due to coverage issues. And this is not just for the poor. You can keep a phone no you mostly need for OTPs alive for a year in Rs. 321 if you're a Tamil Nadu police officer (as a comment below pointed out) - this could be extended to the poor! Loads of people who use separate numbers for banking and social media would vote for this.
