Should understand that telecom is backbone of economy as most of the business applications used now a days are online. Now only 2-3 pvt telecom service providers are left. The Govt sold Air India with 15000 Cr liabilities where as Vijay Malya's entire debt was around 3500 Crores. Same Govt had bailed out Vodafone where as ready to sell of BSNL with 1000 Crore liability.
