    The concerning part isn't the technical mechanism, it's that BSNL pushed a carrier settings update, a VoWiFi activation campaign, and a burst of OTA provisioning messages to devices, all within the same window. These land on your phone without you initiating anything. If you accepted the carrier update when prompted, your modem was silently re-initialised. Whether anyone on the network operations side considered device-side impact is a fair question.

    @bsnl_care @bsnl_tt @BSNLCorporate BSNL signal has been completely lost in Sriram Nagar Colony, Kondapur, Hyderabad since yesterday. Such poor service from a Central Government telecom company is really disappointing. Customers are unable to make calls or use internet services.

    @BSNLCorporate please improve your network fast like vi because this is the time where BSNL can beat other network operator if you become fast in solving problems and start deploying more towers in repairing old towers
