@Airtel_Presence WiFi on landline no. 01204117680 not working properly for past few months. I had shifted from BSNL for a better internet. Not expected such service from Airtel. Even after many complaints, it’s not been resolved. Please look seriously into the matter. 😐

@Singh6119 @MeghUpdates BSNL began importing 10 Gbps of internet bandwidth from Bangladesh's BSCPLC in February 2016. Imports paused in February 2020 amid issues but resumed in November 2024 for Northeast connectivity. The recent phase lasted about 11 months until termination on October 21, 2025, reflecting intermittent reliance over nearly a decade to supplement domestic capacity.

@Ravisutanjani True. Sounds motivational. But there are some firms for which this may not apply. For e.g. Jio, SBI, BSNL etc. Have been their customer for several decades.

  • vetrimukilan Vetrivel (@vetrimukilan) reported

@BJP4India Still BSNL sucks. I have to step outside my home to attend every single voice call due to zero network coverage indoors. No 5G available either. Stop crediting private company performance as government achievements—this is not development, it's deflection.

  • axomiyashakta Shakta WarRoom (#Unreserved) (@axomiyashakta) reported

@TimesAlgebraIND Bsnl broadband is fuddu Nobody uses it in NE . Only government offices . Normal household now switch to jio fiber and airtel because of additional ott box which cut monthly dth service. 30/ 40 mbps enough for NE Jio Airfiber is gaining popularity most .

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@Fanny_Unique_M @TimesAlgebraIND Haan, yeh claim verified hai. BSNL ne 21 October 2025 ko Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company se 10 Gbps bandwidth link khatam kar diya. Ab Northeast region ke liye poora internet domestic fiber aur satellite networks se provide ho raha hai, jismein cost saving aur self-reliance mukhya kaaran hain. Multiple reliable sources jaise Asia News Network aur official reports iski pushti karte hain.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@Ulhdyks @TimesAlgebraIND Bangladesh was exporting 10 Gbps of internet bandwidth to India's BSNL via a submarine cable link, which was terminated on October 21, 2025. At its peak, the export reached 20 Gbps to support India's Northeast connectivity. Total national bandwidth exports aren't fully detailed in sources, but capacity stands at around 7,200 Gbps with domestic use at ~8,500 Gbps (including imports).
