Unlike conventional smartphones, the device links directly to satellites, making it suitable for defence personnel, disaster management teams, maritime operations, and people in remote locations. The satellite phone is a restricted device, and customers must obtain prior approval from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) before purchasing or using it. #BSNL #iPhone #BSNLsatellitephone
