    BSNL network is worst in Mumbai and suburban area. From Alibaug I purchased sim card with no receipt. They said we r not giving any receipt. Plans r good but service is Zero. All employees are contract base they denied any enquiry & Liability @BSNLCorporate @BSNL_MH @TelecomBsnl

    @diveshkumar786 1) BSNL sim should be 5G Ready as tower conversion to 4G is ongoing 2) You will still receive MTNL signal as In-Dolphin (3G) or 40439 (4G) 3) Signals will show as Roaming 4) Reception varies at large depending upon the area, location (indoor/outdoor)

    The concerning part isn't the technical mechanism, it's that BSNL pushed a carrier settings update, a VoWiFi activation campaign, and a burst of OTA provisioning messages to devices, all within the same window. These land on your phone without you initiating anything. If you accepted the carrier update when prompted, your modem was silently re-initialised. Whether anyone on the network operations side considered device-side impact is a fair question.

    My wife using BSNL because of me but it's not safe to use BSNL because when she is trying to call in an emergency call Is not connecting.. long beep to connect. Call drop poor signal . It's not a reliable network.we are porting our number. Pushing us to a private network
