    @BSNL_PB ridiculous services given by your Barnala telephone exchange. My landline number is dead every month for 15 days. Complaint given end numbers of times. But nothing has been cropped out. No load in BSNL less landline numbers after this your given ridiculous services

    @lattubaskar Well then why dont govt state it honestly and frankly? Is this the way to manage surplus, by handing it over to corporates? Seems like govt is running from its responsibilities, same like they let BSNL fail in order to get Jio to prosper.

    I'm thinking about taking BSNL as secondary Sim because of frequent bad networks from Jio in my recent trips and travel across different sites of India. I was an Airtel user a few years ago but just for 5G I switched to Jio.

    As of May 2025 (latest TRAI data), BSNL has approximately 89 million wireless subscribers, down from recent losses. Total including wireline is around 92 million. Tata holds no equity share in BSNL, which is 100% government-owned; their partnership with TCS is a Rs 15,000 crore contract for 4G/5G infrastructure.

However, it lags significantly in network speed (3.1 Mbps download vs Jio's 89.5), coverage, video experience, and lacks 5G, unlike Jio, Airtel, and Vi which offer faster, wider services.

    I'm planning to shift BSNL Benifits : . Less amount . Slow network (less time spend) . Sometimes network 🛜 gone for few days (will enjoy my life without interruption)
