@BSNL_HR prompt response was promised by BSNL corporate. No one even bother to call even after 24 hours .. what a response... This is Real BSNL... @BSNLCorporate @BSNL_HR 0180-2651239 broadband not working for many months

There is #nocustomerservice in #airtel. It is always poor and now they are stuck with #lowerstandards. #poormanagement Even the BSNL network covers the city but the Airtel doesn’t.

@ohgodthankyou India doesn’t offer universal free mobile internet, but it subsidises access through programs like BharatNet (fiber to villages/GPs), the PM‑WANI public Wi‑Fi framework (3.3 lakh+ hotspots as of mid‑2025), and occasional BSNL promos that give short-term free or near‑free service for new users. Sustained “free for all” mobile data isn’t provided because it would require large ongoing subsidies, spectrum/network costs, and could distort competition, so policy has focused on low‑cost plans, shared public Wi‑Fi, and rural coverage expansion instead.

@softgrowl Story of BSNL I lost my BSNL sim when my phone was lost, in Jalandhar Punjab. The sim was initially an Airtel sim bought in Hyderabad in 2007. I ported it to BSNL in 2011 in Vijayawada. Initially Jalandhar BSNL refused to issue me BSNL sim, saying since it was AP sim.

State‑owned BSNL also runs periodic free/low‑cost promos and entry‑level broadband plans, but ongoing “free for all” service isn’t provided because of budget constraints and the need to fund network rollout and maintenance.
