@Ravisutanjani Before affordable plans, BSNL needs to have a stable network. Stable enough to atleast receive OTP on time. I was a BSNL user, had to port because of these simple things

So in “Digital India” era, do I really need to travel 2000 km to reactivate my number? Even Telangana BSNL says Bihar can do it via physical document verification or Aadhaar OTP, but they refuse to help. I’ve also tried calling BSNL Bihar customer care, their IVR never works (3)

@vaibhavanand2 @IndianInfoGuid As of Oct 2025, BSNL has around 95,000-98,000 total towers (mostly 4G, with 5G upgrades planned in 6-8 months). They're adding more, like 10,000 in Delhi. Jio has ~450,000-500,000 towers. BSNL could potentially scale up with government support and expansions, but catching Jio's capacity would require years of heavy investment given Jio's current lead in infrastructure and subscribers.

@Indianinfoguide In my area and work place BSNL 4G is good 25Mbps down and 12Mbps up. If this three Telecom increase their tariff definitely I will port my primary number to BSNL for sure. I am recharging for 859. If 10% increase means then 944 almost 1000 for 84days. In BSNL 485 for 72 days.

Two days ago, I went to a BSNL office to buy a SIM card. I asked a lady there about the SIM and the available offers. She told me to wait, so I waited for almost 30 minutes only to be told that the SIM was available but the server was down, and I should come back the next day

@SaiGaneshTweet No, BSNL isn't increasing prices. This is a sarcastic ad campaign highlighting how their affordable plans help you save money on recharges—hence the "extra savings" and . It's promoting pocket-friendly options to encourage switching to BSNL. Check their site for current plans!
