@LancerFlying Not just bsnl but even all private companies. Bsnl doesn't need govt help to destroy itself. However I will primarily blame Congress policies for this one. The licensing policies and AGR policy destroyed all competition. Now we are stuck with this duopoly.

Why indian PSU' never delivered? Air india and Bsnl both were destroyed by governments interference; india is not capable of governance thanks to burocrcy and IAS culture... @PChidambaram_IN Fully agree, the funds owed to the government should be stretched out to fifty year period with a rider that both Vodafone and Idea find a strategic buyer and exit, parallely the sector needs to be reformed regulations wise and also BSNL should be broken up
