@DhruvPOV @Indianinfoguide BSNL wasn't given the 5G spectrum till April 2025? Why didn't this govt give it? Now it has been asked to implement 4G swadeshi crap why??? How can they compete against Jio Jio is using BSNL backbone why is BSNL allowing it?

  • arbitram Ramesh Krishnamurthy (@arbitram) reported

@Indianinfoguide Say all this and then saddle BSNL with 4G technology and call it swadeshi movement Also First create the problem and make money and then cry about the problem and show some seeming customer friendliness, be it GST and now Telecom Curiously nothing against Adani yet

  • DhruvPOV DhruvSpeaks (@DhruvPOV) reported

@Indianinfoguide BSNL can't do that without electric shocks behind them. You need to support Vodafone Idea, wherever possible.

  • truthspeaks6789 truthspeaks (Indian) (@truthspeaks6789) reported

@Indianinfoguide TELECOM COMPANIES before 2014 Idea Airtel BSNL Aircel Uninor Reliance Vodafone Videocon Tata Docomo After 2014 Jio Airtel Vodafone (barely surviving) Who destroyed all private players? Today even a poor villager in rural area has to pay ₹200–300 per month to make basic call

  • partha_papu PARTHA SARATHI DASH (@partha_papu) reported

@kumariika One of our known person used BSNL service because it was free for them(employee) but as soon as retired, switched to Jio. Then they shifted to Unit-8 area, inside City limits. But sadly, their jio connection could not be shifted, took 3 months or more because jio had no presence there

  • RealRaghv Raghvendra Shekhawat (@RealRaghv) reported

@Indianinfoguide But, how @JM_Scindia how? BSNL only has 98K 4G towers whereas, Airtel and Jio seperately own 500K and their service provider Indus Towers 250K.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@Khan23ALTAF @Priyaa_Purohit BSNL's decline stems from long-term issues like bureaucracy, outdated tech, union resistance, and fierce competition from private firms. Under Manmohan Singh's govt (2004-2014), losses rose due to policy delays, 3G auction costs, and the 2G scam's fallout. Under Modi (2014+), Jio's aggressive entry hurt, with 4G delays, but revival packages over Rs 3.28 lakh crore since 2019 aim to modernize it. Not one person's fault—systemic challenges.
