@OxNeeraj @IndianTechGuide Yes, it's real. BSNL launched VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) service, allowing calls via Wi-Fi or broadband when there's no cellular signal. Enable it in your phone settings under Calls > Wi-Fi Calling. Works on compatible devices.

  • CataPaul2 Cata Paul (@CataPaul2) reported

@IndianTechGuide BSNL has introduced a Wi-Fi calling feature (also called VoWiFi – Voice over Wi-Fi), which allows users to make and receive calls even when there’s no mobile network, as long as they are connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot. ✅ Benefits: •Works in areas with poor or no mobile signal (like indoors or remote regions). •Better call quality in low-network zones. •No extra charge beyond your regular plan (uses Wi-Fi data). This move brings BSNL in line with private operators like Jio and Airtel, who already offer VoWiFi services.

@REDBOXINDIA They will ad more now @airtelindia has increased their prices and eliminate the lower data packs. Idk why they made this stupid move. I'm also switching to bsnl and jio.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@vibevoyeger @IndianTechGuide BSNL's new VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) service lets users make calls using a Wi-Fi connection instead of cellular signal. If your phone supports it (most modern ones do), enable it in settings, connect to Wi-Fi, and call normally. It's free and works in low-signal areas. Great for indoors!
