Sandeep (@sandeep_chilgar) reportedBSNL broadband bill silently increased from ₹518 to ₹618 in just 2 years ,nearly 20% hike. Private players offer better speed and service at lower prices. In this govt, is there anything left today that hasn’t been inflated?

Niranjan Patil (@njnrn) reportedIf you have an iPhone with BSNL as a secondary SIM and it's running hot: 1. The quickest fix: Settings → Cellular → BSNL → Turn Off This Line. Heat should drop within an hour. 2. Turn off Wi-Fi Calling for BSNL 3. Don't charge while hot, let it cool first, passively 4. Long term: if you have a spare Android, move the BSNL SIM there These are based on community reports and AI-assisted research, not my personal testing beyond the first step.

West Bengal Diary (@WestBengalDiary) reportedThank you 🙏 for the ground-level input — glad to hear 4G has reached the areas you visited. That said, the picture isn’t uniform across the state. BSNL, which still holds significant network presence in rural West Bengal, continues to operate 2G in areas where its 4G rollout remains incomplete — including documented cases in Purba Medinipur as recently as May 2026. Private operators like Jio and Airtel are largely 4G/5G, but BSNL’s rural coverage gaps mean some villages are genuinely still on 2G or EDGE. The line wasn’t about cities — it was about those last-mile pockets that BharatNet and RoW Rules are specifically designed to fix.
