@Airtel_Presence While the BSNL SIM receives the alert, the Airtel SIM does not. This clearly suggests that the issue is specific to Airtel and not with my device or location.

@smiloskis @HQuarterma43504 ISRO is in b2b not b2c so how you know how good their service is. B2c service like bsnl, air india are already sold.

@viravi109 @KSAbhilash @Pawankhera BSNL was systemically killed. Government can run good businesses if public demands it. ISRO was running a good business before. Just because a better player exists, doesnโ€™t mean kill of the smaller player. And right now ISRO is the bigger one. Wtf is your logic,

What govt is doing is not a funding tweak. But a mandate change. It's already happening. SSLV โ†’ tech + production handed to HAL, competitive bid. PSLV, LVM3 โ†’ next. And PSUs are out this round. Private players only. 120 ISRO technologies transferred so far. Is this something new which India is doing? NO The playbook is old. The state eats the invention risk. Private capital won't fund 20 years of uncertain R&D with no guaranteed payoff. Once the engineering works, the question flips: not "can this be built" but "can this be built cheap, at scale." That's a market problem. Not a lab problem. NASA ran this exact play. Saturn V. Shuttle. Built in-house for decades. Physics solved โ†’ NASA stepped back, became customer + regulator. SpaceX and Boeing took over. Same script, different agency. Same happened with Internet. ARPANET. GPS. State-run for years โ€” then opened to commercial carriers and chipmakers once proven. Invent public and Scale private. India also did it with Telecom under ABV. DoT/BSNL had the monopoly. Once the tech matured, private operators took buildout and crushed cost-per-subscriber. No PSU was ever going to do that. Even China followed the script. Govt held the rocket monopoly for decades. Beijing opened it up in 2014 โ€” iSpace, LandSpace, Galactic Energy โ€” specifically to multiply launch cadence without ballooning CASC's own balance sheet. Same mechanism, four countries, four sectors: One state producer can't scale cadence once demand outgrows the monopoly. Competition compresses cost-per-kg faster than any single agency โ€” however well-run. Hence, what Modi govt is doing is logical in nature and shows we are growing. We need our Private sector to raise up to the occasion and rule the world. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป #Isro #Developement

@BSNLCorporate But I don't think the answer should be to eventually say: "We tried. BSNL couldn't compete. Let's shut it down." Telecom isn't just another industry. It is critical national infrastructure. I don't think India should reach a point where virtually all of its telecom infrastructure is controlled by private companies. 3/9
