Opening the app gives the error to check Internet connection. The problem stays the same on BSNL Broadband, Airtel 3G and Jio 4G's internet. The update definitely bugged something.

You allowed it to go from bad to worse, now when BSNL has been damaged to the core you are trying to revive it by wasting money. Then you'll raise GST to compensate for the money you are wasting.

Joseph (@panicker16141) reporteddid MNP from Airtel to BSNL on December 2025. If the sim onboarding app of BSNL had issues back then, cannot say much. But it got activated by then with Rs 1 FRC which would provide 2GB/Day for 30 days followed by 599 plan with validity of 70 days making it 100 days.
