Gaurav Saddi (@drgauravsaddi) reported@BaluGorade Agreed. Unless Vi improves financially or BSNL significantly upgrades its network and service quality, meaningful competition looks unlikely. Consumers may end up bearing the cost.

Arun MITTAL (@immittalarun) reported@AjeetBhartii Old guards BSNL / MTNL couldnβt do much. Hope that incidental govt investment in Vodafone works out something soon to become an alternative to poor service giants Jio / Airtel. Govt must truly revive BSNL to competitive level and let Vodafone give some jitters to duopolistic companies.

Himanshu Jana (@himanshujana_) reported@BSNLCorporate @CGM_WB_BSNL Skypro IFTV has not been working for 7 days. I am using the BSNL Fiber Silver Jubilee plan, but now no one from BSNL or Skypro is helping. BSNL's service is very bad. Please solve this urgently, otherwise, I will have to switch my fiber to another ISP.

Abhay Gupta (@stockster_in) reportedHere's why now, and not some other year. Airtel's ARPU sits around βΉ254, Jio's near βΉ214 β both companies want that number higher to justify what they've spent building out 5G. And the market's down to basically three real players plus BSNL, so none of them are worried about losing you to a cheaper competitor if everyone moves at the same time. One estimate going around has Airtel's 28-day unlimited plan going from βΉ319 to βΉ419. Jio's daily 1.5GB plan, βΉ299 to somewhere near βΉ359. Nothing's official yet. But three separate research houses landing in the same range in the same few weeks isn't a coincidence β that's a company telling the market what it's about to do before it tells you.

Batman of East (@WanderingPious) reported@Anviksha_ Even after spending more than 500 in Airtel postpaid I can't use mobile hotspot and during emergency this is severe loss for me. The worst part I can't switch because I know VI and Jio will also implement this policy soon. Need BSNL badly
