    BSNL & BBNL merger is also approved, this signifies that GoI is trying to cover Rural Population with 4G connectivity. Private Operators will be moving to 5G and later 6G, there would be a big vacuum for 4G services. Even today these private operators don't offer service in low

    @Shribblings That's a concern. My professional business experience with bsnl is terrible, it's corrupt, lethargic, outdated, typical govt org, overstaffed like former air India.

    Remember, Govt was testing some UPI payment system with SMS via basic handset. BSNL infra may help this payment gateway by leaps and bounds. Even poor DBT beneficiaries can do payment with basic handset. And we all know how much UPI payment system helping each one of us.

    @AmitShah @narendramodi Wrong decision sir. BSNL is huge liability, inefficient work force, poor policy making, unfit for competition. Jik made internet available to average Indian citizen, this revolution should have been done by BSNL. Don't give hard earned taxpayers money to loss making PSUs.

    Finally once again govt. has decided to burn Rs 1.64 lakh crores of tax payers money in #BSNL one of the major disaster decision to waste money only for getting votes and stop opposition to question on issues of BSNL, which has proven disaster for the state.

    @PTI_News Good to see government’s will to revive BSNL. But it’s better giving contract to any private organisation. Reason being government employees interest in doing their job properly. I’ve used BSNL services till 2018 in my village and had to shift to Airtel due to bad service by BSNL

    @AmitShah @narendramodi What rubbish sir? What technology or talent BSNL and MTNL could not afford to hire to become a preferred service provider? They died because govt wanted to favor their capitalist friends. Now you are congratulating govt to let them die. Wow!!!

    So Payment gateway based on NCPI and BSNL infra can circumvent all other private operator infra, saving service charges and commission leakages. And all the 1.64 lakh crore invested in BSNL will result in indirect income to Govt. over a period of time.

    @PIB_India @AshwiniVaishnaw Make Bsnl cripple by not allotting 4g/5g soectrum, Promoting private company Jio by PM, intentionally making BSNL worse so it can be sell off to their loved ones. If you can’t make profit out of india’s most robust network, may be y’all should quit and leave india for makng worse

    @AmitShah @narendramodi When other companies are biding for 5g, GOI want PSU to begin 4g rollout isn't is too fast to react?? Or they want a reason to completely divest bsnl.. Why govt can't improve infrastructure for good quality network to fight against call drop rather speeding up internet speed...
