BSNL failed to bill Reliance Jio for using its passive telecom infrastructure for 10 years (2014-2024) due to negligence and poor enforcement of their Master Service Agreement, leading to a loss of around Rs 1,757 crore to the government. This happened because BSNL neither raised invoices nor applied escalation clauses, and even after recognizing the issue, delayed action and billing attempts were rejected by Jio, with no arbitration initiated by BSNL. So, it wasn't a simple "failure" but a series of administrative lapses, delays, and disputes that caused this huge billing oversight.

@BSNLCorporate hopeless service still now from prepaid to postpaid not started, so hopeless cannot expect hopeless bsnl hopeless customer service @bsnl_care @BSNL_AS , take SD of rs 500 on 17 may 25, hopeless one till not start post paid connection

@BSNLCorporate @BSNL_CHTD When a connection is surrendered, any amount due to customer should be settled within 60 days says TRAI. The BSNLFiber connection 4422200026 was surrendered and disconnected on 24 Oct 2025. Deposit amount not repaid yet. BSNL not under TRAI ?
