After Jio coming only 2 are left which would merge sooner if they need to stay afloat & close down by 2021. BSNL would be privatised & taken over by RIL. There would be No Competition. But now, the picture seems to be slowly changing. The ₹1 offer, affordable plans, and efforts to improve the network - BSNL is clearly signalling that it is in the mood to reclaim its place in the market. Now the real question is... Could BSNL’s comeback become a new challenge for Airtel and Jio? If the network keeps getting better, many people might even start keeping BSNL as their second SIM.

The tower has been non-functional for the past three or four years. Even when it was operational, the network was poor and 3G didn't work, yet they talk big about introducing 5G.
