  @Indianinfoguide This is a smart way to get people to test the network. But the real challenge is the ₹1,280Cr loss BSNL reported for Q1 FY27. They need these new users to actually stay & recharge the ₹2,399 plan later if they want to fix the numbers. 5G in Andhra is still 5 to 6 months away.

  Chennai, Tamil Nadu: VS Ilanthirai Chief General manager of BSNL says, "In rural remote areas, there is a scheme called Digital Bharat Net that is supported by USO funding. Universal Service Obligation funding is there. Based on that scheme, we are given some target of installing the towers. So, that is called 4G saturation towers.
