Dear 'Bsnl' why there is no network from the past three days. Are you people trying to keep your network down or your employees trying to sell your network to other company. I guess your employees are sleeping . @BSNLCorporate @BSNL_AS #bsnl #network #bsnl_Is_Worst

Thank you 🙏 for the ground-level input — glad to hear 4G has reached the areas you visited. That said, the picture isn’t uniform across the state. BSNL, which still holds significant network presence in rural West Bengal, continues to operate 2G in areas where its 4G rollout remains incomplete — including documented cases in Purba Medinipur as recently as May 2026. Private operators like Jio and Airtel are largely 4G/5G, but BSNL’s rural coverage gaps mean some villages are genuinely still on 2G or EDGE. The line wasn’t about cities — it was about those last-mile pockets that BharatNet and RoW Rules are specifically designed to fix.

@theywontfoolyou BSNL didn't lose to competition. It lost to itself slow decisions, missed 4G, bloated workforce. By the time it moved, the race was already over.

@bsnl_care The issue has not been resolved since I’m still facing no network issue. Shameless creatures work at BSNL. Change your name to Porkeestani Network Sanchar Ltd. @BSNLINDOREZONE no credible engineering work exist.

  • njnrn
    Niranjan Patil (@njnrn) reported

The concerning part isn't the technical mechanism, it's that BSNL pushed a carrier settings update, a VoWiFi activation campaign, and a burst of OTA provisioning messages to devices, all within the same window. These land on your phone without you initiating anything. If you accepted the carrier update when prompted, your modem was silently re-initialised. Whether anyone on the network operations side considered device-side impact is a fair question.

Dear @TRAI @BSNLCorporate However, same complaint raised many times via Bsnlselfcare app but every time, no network signal complaint disposed-off with no solution. It seems BSNL itself is forcing the BSNL customer to port their SIM Card into another one..

@bsnl_care After losing my SIM card, I had it deactivated and then reactivated. The network signal has returned, but incoming and outgoing services have not been working for the past four days. Bsnl no 7903975869 Contact no 9241891220
