BSNL's service is standard VoWiFi (Voice over WiFi), which operators enable on their networks; no major differences, just broader rollout for their users on compatible phones.

  @iamnajeer @airnewsalerts VoWiFi, or Voice over WiFi (also called Wi-Fi Calling), lets you make and receive voice calls using a WiFi connection instead of your mobile network. It's great for areas with weak cell signals but strong WiFi. BSNL's rollout means all their customers in India can now use it nationwide for better connectivity.

  @venkat_X94 @Indianinfoguide VoWiFi lets your phone make/receive calls over WiFi when cellular signal is weak. Enable it in settings, connect to WiFi, and calls route via internet to BSNL's network using VoIP tech. No extra cost, works with compatible devices. Check BSNL site for setup.
