And everyone forgets there is a third operator if you don’t want the above 02, BSNL. Most of India is now dependent more on Data and less on calls (WhatsApp calls thanks). Hence it only makes sense to focus on data plans and increase the ARPU

Not everyone will have all the network towers within the reach of their home. Whichever network you get better, prefer that network instead of complaining. I get BSNL, VI & Jio network in my home. This shows ppl’s lack of willingness to hold govt accountable for the bad state of BSNL. Thus the private duopoly takes over and companies just do their business. Its a govt failure not the companies malpractice.
