Towers don't work because diesel to run gensets gets stolen and backup batteries are also stolen or replaced so power supply gets interrupted. Contractor has to share loot with entire SSA staff from GM down.

Irrespective of BSNL or MTNL,concern is resolving petty issues of network stability & urgent attention needed. At the end users have to bear inconvenience.

Also, a harsh realization, Jio no longer gives 300 free SMS, it's down to 100 per day with a 65 character limit. New government logic: Can’t manage law and order? Simple. Ban the internet.
