Jio started straight with 4G technology and free for one year. Moreover Jio used bsnl tower's for free. Then why government of India didn't give this opportunity to bsnl or any other mobile service provider?

My number belongs to BSNL which is currently roaming on Vi India’s Delhi network because of BSNL’s ICR agreement between MTNL & Vi. I don’t think this is a problem because of Vi, but instead it’s your ICR agreement.

Govt will become owner of the company with 80% holdings and thereafter can be merged with BSNL. Now Vi has significantly increased both 5G/4G site rollings,going deep rural areas,aiming BSNL like coverage.
