After submitting the request, the service may take up to 24 hours for activation. VoWiFi service is enabled automatically for eligible customers based on handset compatibility, approved software version, and network provisioning. For supported devices, you can manually enable it by going to your handset Settings → Wi-Fi Calling/VoWiFi and turning it ON while connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. The connectivity in Chaubeypur, Varanasi has been so pathetic for the last 15 days that you’re actually making BSNL look impressive. Local merchants are already discussing porting their Jio numbers. To make matters worse, even the JioFiber connection installed at my residence is down. 15 days of poor connectivity is not a “technical issue”. It is a failure of service. So, @reliancejio, what do you suggest? Should we stop wasting our time and port out?

Xtranet builds systems for its customers — the ERP, the applications, the integration. EPFO, Delhi Police, BSNL, Mumbai Metro. The customer owns what the system that gets built. The same kind of work TCS or Infosys do, but on a much smaller scale. But that system needs somewhere to run: servers, storage, power, someone watching it round the clock. That’s what ESDS sells — space and computing inside its data centres. The same job AWS and Azure do. So the same customer can hire Xtranet to build the system, and ESDS to run it. Different layers. Not alternatives.
