Our landline is O.O.O from 2020 and we registered many complaints but no response from the team. I checked the status of complaints, it shows resolved. I tweeted and get the same response. BSNL, which still holds significant network presence in rural West Bengal, continues to operate 2G in areas where its 4G rollout remains incomplete — including documented cases in Purba Medinipur as recently as May 2026. Private operators like Jio and Airtel are largely 4G/5G, but BSNL’s rural coverage gaps mean some villages are genuinely still on 2G or EDGE. The line wasn’t about cities — it was about those last-mile pockets that BharatNet and RoW Rules are specifically designed to fix.

Such poor service from a Central Government telecom company is really disappointing. Customers are unable to make calls or use internet services.
