@BSNL_KOTD @BSNLCorporate @JM_Scindia My father has been a loyal BSNL customer since very beginning, using a BSNL postpaid connection for years. Under the free 5G SIM upgrade scheme, he visited the BSNL Customer Care Centre May 2026 onwards and was issued a new prepaid 5G SIM.

@JM_Scindia @TawdeVinod BSNL network is a very poor network all over india, hathua city, gopalganj bihar.

@BaluGorade Agree. However why no one is going for the BSNL in that case? It has cheaper plan and good network in some areas. If BSNL network is good in given area people should avail that. This charges are mainly for the 5G, major core difference.

Loyalty has a price, and I've paid it for years as a BSNL user. Unfortunately, persistent network failures have forced me to rely on private players like Airtel, where I am now subjected to arbitrary pricing and predatory service tactics.

@jitendraverma__ We, at Hyderabad city, we don't get @BSNLCorporate signals even for voice calls. So, you better check signal strength in in your area before porting. This is my suggestion. Comparitively, Vi is better than BSNL.

@BhavikABarad1 @rameshsrivats Sure. That's not Airtel's problem, right? They are a private company who have no obligation to fulfil your needs. You are at liberty to buy their services if you wish to. If not, please go ahead and get Jio or BSNL or any other service that suits your need.

@a1_mathur @airtelindia BSNL don't have any service provider here in hilly regions of Jammu Kashmir.

@iAsura_ The idea of the PSU being the facilitator and infrastructure provider is a good one. It's time tested. For an example of full service PSUs, railways and bsnl are there, not exactly shining comparisons. ISRO transitioning to become an NHAI type org is a good one.
