But still the only option for a landline connection is incompetent @airtelindia as the ailing BSNL is no more of an option and @reliancejio is yet to roll out their service. I stand by what I said about Space sector start ups doing good work. Likewise, service standards, costs, and technology in telecom has improved leaps and bounds. I do not mourn the demise of MTNL and BSNL at all. I see no reason to do so, other than ideological nostalgia. The other thing you said about the chaebols is a discussion by itself. But the bogey of Adani cannot be used as a veto to perpetuate public sector inefficiencies which didn't cause growth or innovation, but were somehow acceptable because a govt servant making unaccounted money didn't seem as bad. It's a long discussion. And I'm out for now.
